Homeschoolers: Build a Better Mousetrap, Win $1,000!
The City of Philadelphia will be hosting a Rube Goldberg Machine contest at Drexel University, and Homeschoolers are invited to participate! The task? Build a machine that can erase a chalkboard.
What is a Rube Goldberg machine? It’s a machine similar to the game “Mousetrap” that was popular when I was little. Basically it is a machine that uses lots of funny, complicated, and clever steps to perform a very simple task. Mythbusters created a RubeGoldberg Machine on one of their Christmas episodes. You can check out their machine by clicking on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCYg_gz4fDo
