Cheltenham Center for the Arts

The Cheltenham Center for the Arts has wonderful art classes for students ages 3 to adult.  The facility is located just outside of Philadelphia:  439 Ashbourne Rd, Cheltenham, PA 19012

They are currently providing two eight-week sessions of classes.  The first session starts the week of Sept. 12th.  (That’s next week!) The second session starts the week of Nov. 14th.

Following is a basic outline of the available classes this fall.  (Please note that the center is willing to start new classes during the day for homeschoolers if enough people express interest!)

Preschool Programs:  Preschool Art (ages 3-5) & Preschool Clay (ages 4-6).

Kids one-day workshops:  Paper Bag Masks (ages 5 – 7), Cartoon Illustration (ages 8 – 12),  & Beaded Jewelry (ages 13-17).

Kids Programs: Draw, Paint, Print, & More (ages 5 – 8, & 9 – 12), Medieval Time Travel (ages 5 – 8), Meet the Masters (ages 5 – 8), Clay for Kids (ages 5 – 8), After School Clay (ages 9 – 12) Fiber & Textiles (ages 9 – 12), & Found Object Art (ages 9 – 12).

Teen Classes: Foundation Drawing (ages 13 +), Clay, Pottery & Sculpture (ages 13 +), Painting & Drawing (ages 13 +), Printmaking (ages 13 +), & Teen Clay Class (ages 13 +).
