Free Admission to “Dinosaur Museum” – Academy of Natural Sciences
My children have always referred to The Academy of Natural Sciences as the “Dinosaur Museum.” It is well-known for its fantastic displays of dinosaur fossils. Its permanent exhibits also include an amazing live butterfly exhibit and a live animal center. The museum boasts changing exhibits as well. This Wednesday, October 26th, the museum will have FREE ADMISSION!
Here’s the basic information:
What: Academy of Natural Sciences
Where: 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19103
When: Wednesday, October 26th
Time: 10am to 4:30pm
The museum is providing free admission to celebrate an affiliation agreement between the Academy and Drexel University. Face painting and the opportunity to make dinosaur and dragon puppets (to take home) are some of the many special activities planned for the museum that day.
